Briton 'killed by Zimbabwe rebels'

A British businessman is reported to have been kidnapped and murdered by rebels in Zimbabwe who chained him to a tree and forced him to drink battery acid.

Phillip Laing, 51, was captured along with eight colleagues at the tea estate where he lived and worked.

His two daughters, visiting from the UK, were left alone and terrified in the house.
