British nanny to be freed today

British nanny Manjit Basuta, jailed in California for shaking a toddler to death, will be released today.

Last year Basuta, 48, from Slough, had her 25-year murder sentence reduced to manslaughter.

Oliver Smith, aged 18 months, suffered the fatal injury while he was in her care in San Diego.
