The 20-year-old woman and 38-year-old man were tackling the 13,100 feet high Dent du Géant, a peak in the Mont Blanc massif. The emergency services were alerted at about 10.30am yesterday after other climbers heard the Britons' screams. They could have been hit by a dislodged boulder.
