Baywatch star jailed

David Hasselhoff has spent a night behind bars after being arrested for drinkdriving in Los Angeles.

The Baywatch star, who checked himself into a Betty Ford clinic two years ago, was stopped on Saturday night.

He was released the following day on £10,000 bail, but now faces a court-imposed spell in an alcohol treatment centre.

Hours after his first stint in rehab in 2002, the 51-year-old was found unconscious in a hotel following a drinking binge.
