Farrell, who is behind iconic properties including the MI6 building, featured in the Bond films, is a long-time Maida Vale resident, so these three-bedroom homes are particularly close to his heart.

The five houses are part of the Lyons Place development and reflect his bold, colourful style, with a façade of midnight blue ceramic tiles, plus a larger-than-life petrol pump art installation.

Objects dotted throughout the scheme, from vintage cobblers’ lasts to local history books, have been chosen from the area’s many art and antiques dealers to evoke the rich cultural history of this leafy corner of the capital.

Prices start at £2.5 million.
