Fleabag sells out in ten minutes to become Soho Theatre's hottest ticket ever

There was a time when the hottest ticket in town was a boy wizard; now it’s a twenty-something woman who is sarcastic and a bit pervy. The return of Phoebe Waller-Bridge’s Fleabag to the London stage has caused a booking frenzy, with tickets selling out in ten minutes.

It is the fastest selling general sale for a theatre run in Soho Theatre’s history, with all tickets snapped up in the blink of an eye for the two week run this December.

The play, which was made into a hugely popular BBC Three series this year, started life at Soho Theatre and returns to its original home for their autumn season. The tickets rapidly disappeared like hot cakes, with many on Twitter lamenting that they weren’t quick enough to snap one up.

Waller-Bridge reprises her role for the theatre run, which is a one-woman show. The BBc series also starred Olivia Colman, Bill Paterson, Hugh Skinner and Sian Clifford.
