4. Golborne Road will not lose its funkiness as long as wood-fired restaurant John Doe sends out beer butt partridge with Stinking Bishop mac ’n’ cheese.

5. At Harrods Stelle di Stelle pop-up, sublime cream of potato with Lapsang Souchong and white truffle from Alba’s star chef Enrico Crippa — until the end of January.
