Dine blindfolded at London’s latest immersive pop-up
When it comes to plating up, most chefs will tell you that presentation is key, but perhaps not at the latest pop-up to grace our city.
The Blindfold Dinner will run every Saturday in July, and – as the name suggests – necessitates diners being blindfolded throughout.
The evening is designed to make up for the lack of sight by bombarding the other senses. It will feature actors walking between tables and interacting with the unsuspecting diners and all kinds of 'surprising' immersive theatrical elements.
The food will be cooked by Australian chef Chris Jordan, who runs Three Little Birds restaurant in Bloomsbury and event catering company A Taste.

This isn’t the only place in London that encourages eating without seeing. Dans Le Noir in Clerkenwell serves up dinners in the dark and employs blind waiting staff who can negotiate the pitch black using their other senses.
