Proud Archivist - bar review

The buzz: a combined gallery, bar, restaurant, café and events space in a beautiful setting on the Regent’s Canal in Haggerston.

The deal: a very spacious, contemporary and light space with window walls that maximise canal views. Cocktails from the new list were a bit hit and miss, but we don’t doubt that they will get better with time. In the meantime, there is a very extensive craft beer list to get stuck into and a wine list (screw-tops only) curated by wine writer and local, Malcolm Gluck.

Good for: it’s going to come into its own as the weather continues to heat up with its substantially sized canal-side terrace.
