What's new this week?

It is the time of year for good intentions so here are some of the healthy options on offer.

At the Cinnamon Club there is a detoxifying menu running throughout Jan called the Complete Cleanser. Lentil soup with cumin and garlic (cumin for its digestive properties, garlic to combat cholesterol), fenugreek crusted sea bream with turmeric (turmeric has antibiotic properties), then cinnamon roasted orange (cinnamon is good for your skin). Huseyin Ozer has always been passionate about healthy eating and the menu at his new Islington restaurant carries on the good work. The Healthy Meal is a balanced selection of 11 meze, both hot and cold, £8.95 per person at lunch and £9.95 at dinner (minimum of two people) - Iman bayildi, kisir, tabbouleh, manca, bakla, chicken guvech with fresh coriander, lamb guvech with oregano, fallafel, hellim, humus kavurma, and borek.
