Our mains of sushi and tempura (£10) and a Korean hotpot (£9.50) weren't bad, just nothing special. The dense sushi rice cakes - with hot ginger, sweet chilli and soy sauce - were bland, and while the fresh vegetable tempura was fine, overall it seemed an unbalanced main. The hotpot, or udon noodles with prawns in a stewy soup, was distinctly underwhelming, lacking any spice or zing, and ultimately no better than what you get in a noodle bar at half the price.
