Start the week in style at an Oyster and Seafood Fair or nip out for a 90 second lunch which promises to taste as good as restaurant-standard food. And if all that gets too much? Head to the new 24-hour T bar.

Hay's Galleria's Oyster And Seafood Fair marks the start of our oyster season, but organisers are keen to point out that there's more than shellfish on offer at this mammoth annual event - subtitled London's Festival Of Fish.

Expect piscine delights aplenty, including sampling opportunities (with your fresh catch being prepared before your eyes), cooking demonstrations and entertainment - and champagne or Guinness to wash it all down.

Round-the-clock brasserie Vingt-Quatre has taken on Ben Parish (ex-MPW and The Groucho Club) as head chef and buffed up its menu with new dishes, including carpaccio of tuna with charred lime and miso, and plum tomato penne pasta with Parish's trademark basil Stolichnaya. There's also a new 24-hour T-Bar, offering such delights as Earl Grey with Lavender, Sunrise In Tibet and the alarmingly monikered Gunpowder (a type of green tea), but there's English Breakfast if you're not feeling adventurous.

Sick of sarnies or greasy burgers being the only options for a quick lunch? If you work in the City, help is at hand - the first Fresh Italy store promises restaurant-standard food prepared in under 90 seconds (how they do this is a closely guarded secret, apparently). Choose from two risottos or penne pasta with eight different sauces, served in insulated pots, for around £3 each. There are also salads, focaccia and ciabatta sandwiches and Italian desserts on offer. And non-City folk take cheer: plans are under way to open more stores this year.
