It's been a while since we heard from singer Matt Goss. Back in the Bros days he was a bit of a poser but these days he's far more down to earth - preferring laid-back and family-run restaurants to celeb hang-outs. He tells

It's an upmarket greasy spoon that serves a great English breakfast. They have an upstairs section and on a sunny day it's just a great place to go for brekkie.

I guess it's a big celebrity hang-out, but that's not the reason I go there. It's a great family-owned Italian restaurant that's very relaxed. It's not up its arse; just a nice place to eat.

There are eight of us in the band and our bass player in particular is very loud, but the people here are always very nice and don't seem to mind. They do this great thing that isn't on the menu, called prawn puri. It's a dish I asked if they could do.

It's traditional and modern Japanese food and the lobster tempuri is unbelievable. I think you could fry anything and it would be tasty, but you can't go wrong if you dip a bit of lobster in batter. Last night Shirley Bassey was eating next to me, which was quite cool, very kitsch.

It's partly Bill Wyman's restaurant, and there's a load of Rolling Stones memorabilia all over the walls. If you're a Stones fan, you can check out his favourite photos and album covers. It's very casual and they do great burgers.
