Indian seafood restaurants are pretty rare and I really enjoy coming here; the food's spicy but really very good. We all went after we finished the last series of the Kumars. They do a fantastic fish soup which is like a meal in itself.

The Ivy

It's a bit of a treat; I tend to go here for meetings. It's a good place for celeb spotting, although I've never seen anyone really huge here myself. It's a mix of continental and British - I always have the salmon fishcakes.

They serve great Thai food which sounds a bit trendy, but I enjoy cooking at home myself and Thai is something I can't make - I don't know if it's complicated or if I just can't be arsed. I go for the seafood, especially prawns, because on the set of the film Notting Hill I had to keep eating a manky bit of tuna for continuity reasons when I secretly wanted the king prawn.

It's a members club but the restaurant is open to anyone. My friends go here when they're in town and it has a nice, relaxed atmosphere.

They have traditional and contemporary Indian menus and you can choose between the two. There's a Bollywood-themed club downstairs, too, which is brilliant and does really great cocktails. It's a unique place with a great atmosphere and I'd highly recommend it.
