Stack the odds in your favour this Shrove Tuesday and go out for pancakes. These sweet (and savoury) spots) will put you in a flipping good mood, without having to risk your own culinary skills falling flat.

Fortnum & Mason Pancake Café

A pop-up Pancake Café, with fresh bellinis accompanying buckwheat pancakes sourced from the famous food hall, including toppings such as smoked salmon (£9).

Enjoy gluten- and sugar-free — but flavour-packed — buckwheat pancakes with fresh fruit, coconut “yoghurt”, chia berry jam and maple syrup — as well as Instagram-friendly edible flowers (£11).
