London Food Month shortlisted for Event Awards

London Food Month has been shortlisted for Debut Event of the Year at this year’s prestigious Event Awards.

The month-long extravaganza of eating featured more than 400 individual events, along with its centrepiece Night Market in Kensington, where more than 40 stall holders served their takes on street food over 12 evenings and two weekends.

Tens of thousands of food lovers flocked to this market alone, while in total more than 100,000 Londoners and visitors attended the month’s events, cementing it as the biggest ever celebration of the capital’s food culture.

Other events across June included Carnaby Street Eat, a one-day food festival in the heart of Soho, and the Westfield Food Truck festival, which kicked off the month at the retail and leisure destination in Shepherd’s Bush.

Shortlisted in the category alongside London Food Month are events including Campo Viejo’s Lake of Colour and the Cosmopolitan Self-Made Summit.
