Inigo

Nicole O'Neil
17 October 2012

Clapham's Inigo plays host to a mix of truly outstanding DJs seven nights of the week, making it hard to say which evening is the best. And when the likes of Brandon 'where's the party?' Block comes down and plays for four hours for nothing just because he ‘loves the vibe,’ you know you're onto a good thing.

The bar is open until 2am and the lively atmosphere, fuelled by up-lifting beats and plenty of alcohol, has nearly everyone dancing on table-tops by the end of the night.

The earlier and later crowds can enjoy cosy sofas - with a roaring fire in winter and a tucked-away nook filled with leather bean bags to chill out in. But between 10pm and 1.30am most people are on their feet giving it some welly to the tunes.

The beer is reasonably priced at around £2.50 a pint, and although prices rise at 11pm, you’re not forced to compete with the Soho joints. Plus, a busy serving crew means you're never left waiting too long.

Go to Inigo a few times, and you begin to feel like you know everyone there, because most of them keep coming back. Definitely a winner for the south London set!
