Funny food with Rhona

Rhona Cameron has been a stand-up comedian for years but she really shot to the big-time after appearing on I'm A Celebrity... Shirking off the 'Rhona the Moaner' tag she was labelled with after surviving the jungle, she enthuses about her five favourite places to eat.

They do beautiful fish and lamb and there's no music. Loud babbling, club music and smoking put me off restaurants, so for the opposite of that - a more sophisticated, international crowd - Deca is my number one, for very special occasions.

It's a small, quirky family-run Thai place right on my doorstep, and I go there to get inexpensive homecooked Thai food. They've always got a special seafood thing on, but I'm a bit boring with Thai food and I always have the red chicken curry.

An old-time theatre restaurant and they do a good chilli con carne. It's cosy, all the old posters are cool and there are some characters, which is quite amusing.

I'm not into really extreme seafood such as oysters but I do love fish - and Back To Basics does fantastic fish. It's small, unpretentious and the food is exquisite. There's a saltfish platter if you want to have a light lunch, and there's an excellent wine list.

I use it for lunch meetings and early dinner. There's a little window table where you can look out and watch the madness of London go by. One of the best desserts I ever had was here: mango cheesecake with iced coconut.
