A baked beans bar is coming to London

It is 50 years since Heinz launched its famous slogan ‘Beanz Meanz Heinz’, and to celebrate it is laying on a pop-up baked beans bar in London.

The bar will run for four weeks from March 27 within Selfridges, serving a selection of beans-based dishes — all appropriately spelt with a 'z' on the end.

These will include ‘Beanz with crispy bacon’, ‘Beanz with smoked ham hock’ and ‘Beanz with scrambled egg’.

Customers will also be able opt in for additional cheddar cheese topping on any of these — sounds like a no-brainer, really.

It will serve from 9am to 7pm Monday to Saturday and 11.30am to 6pm on Sundays, with all the dishes priced at just £3.

The Beanz Meanz Heinz pop-up will run from March 27 to April 23 at Selfridges Food Hall.
