Our/London: The capital’s first vodka distillery opens in Hackney

Our/Vodka is a global chain that produces locally blended spirits across the world, and its fifth outpost has recently launched in London.

Each branch follows the same recipe, but by sourcing ingredients from local partners, every distillery produces a unique final product.

In addition to London, other Our/Vodka cities include Berlin, Amsterdam, Detroit and Seattle.

Two Hackney-based entrepreneurs lead the team behind Our/London: Clive Watson and Neil Chivers.

With Watson’s hospitality background (having co-founded restaurants like The Riding House Café and Village East) and Chivers’ music expertise (working with the PR agency that looks after the Rolling Stones and Pink Floyd, among others), the two believe that their vast London experiences will come together to help produce a local product that Londoners will enjoy.
