Taste assessment: Glugging from a vast bottle of cranberry juice seems a sure-fire way to signal “I have recurrent cystitis in all its writhing agony”. Beyond its use as an inflamed bladder indicator though, Ocean Spray’s cranberry blend is a pleasant enough drink, if much too sweet. There’s no added sugar - the slightly saccharine taste stems from the fact it is actually three quarters grape juice. The range also has a mixed berry and a blueberry blend, although that wouldn’t have the added benefit of telling the world - subtly - that you deserve some gentle treatment.
