Eric Lanlard, master pâtissier and twice winner of the 'Continental Pâtissier of the Year' at the British Baking Awards, began training in his field whilst living in Plomelin in Brittany. Since then he has worked as head pastry chef for Albert and Michel Roux and baked for Madonna and Guy Ritchie, Elizabeth Hurley, Claudia Schiffer, David Beckham, The Evening Standard and the Queen Mother. Lanlard set up his own business Laboratoire 2000 in 2005. Five years later he closed it and Cake Boy, a Battersea-based shop, café and cookery school was launched. He has four TV series and six cook books to his name, his most recent being Tart It Up! Here he tells us where he likes to eat out.
