Yes, I too have declared that I am going to join this burger backlash. But then another interesting one comes along and it’s time to go back in my box. Daniel Young, from food blog Young and Foodish, runs what I think are some of the best pop-ups in town. His BurgerMonday events — where a different chef cooks a burger whichever way they like for one evening only — have previously sold out in 15 minutes. This time he hosts the BurgerMonday #LondonBurgerBash at Camden Town Brewery, where six chefs battle for the Golden Patty Award. The line-up includes Master Chef winner Tim Anderson, Hawksmoor’s Richard Turner and Patty & Bun’s Joe Grossman. Let the munching begin.
