Down the cakehole: disco food

After six months the time has come for chef Carl Clarke to say goodbye to his Disco Bistro residency at The Rising Sun pub in St. Paul’s.

But being a good time man, he’s not going to slip away in silence. This Sunday he is hosting a four-course dinner in collaboration with James ‘Jocky’ Petrie from The Fat Duck, James Knappett from Bubbledogs and James Lowe from The Young Turks. Bites include spiced lamb ribs, duck ham, beer chips, tipsy cake and chocolate treats. Following this is will be DJ sets from Gizzi Erskine, dance music royalty Andrew Weatherall and a special guest.
