Derrick May to headline Ministry of Sound's 24th birthday bash
Techno legend Derrick May will lead the birthday celebrations as Ministry of Sound celebrates its 24th birthday.
May, a forefather of the Detroit techno scene who has since influenced dance music on a global level, will take over The Box at the Elephant and Castle club.
He will be joined by a fellow Detroiter, Lee Curtiss, a veteran DJ who also helped to propel the Visionquest label.
DJ and deep house producer Jimpster is also on the bill, as are the duo CamelPhat.
Over in the 103 room of the club, Norris Da Boss Windross, Archie B and Sam Supplier will be appearing – as will a number of yet-to-be-announced special guests.

The birthday bash kicks off at 11pm on Saturday September 19 and will run through until 7am the next morning.
