BarChick's drink of the week: The Fable's Enchanted cocktail
The drink: Enchanted
What’s in it? Bulleit Bourbon, fresh lemon, sugar, egg white and a red wine crown.
Why should we try it? The only thing better than a whiskey sour is a New York Sour, and this is like a fairy tale in Manhattan. The ‘fable and fairy tale’-themed menu at this bar may conjure images of pink bubbles and candy floss but amidst a mainly sweet selection this twist on a timeless classic takes the crown.
Where do we get it? Drake and Morgan’s newest addition, The Fable. They've done away with the fairies with this one and built a three-storey wonderland serving delicious food, mixing up great drinks at their mixology bar (which can be hired for private cocktail-making lessons) and selling fresh blooms and vintage trinkets from their upstairs shop.
