The drink: Silver Screen

What’s in it? Popcorn-infused Buffalo Trace bourbon, cherry bespoke-a-cola, 3D bitters, served with a side of popcorn.

Why should we try it? A drink served with a bar snack always gets BarChick’s approval. In fact, each and every cocktail served here is impressive, with excellent garnishes and little extras. It’s all in the detail here, yet the bartenders still manage to ensure the quality of the drink doesn’t take a back seat.

Where do I get it? The Blind Pig in Soho. The interior has a vintage twist with low antique mirrored ceilings, reclaimed furniture and a beautiful copper topped bar. Oh, and the bar snacks rock. If you have someone to impress, this is the place, but make sure you book a table ahead of your arrival because it’s all table service and it is always full. The crowd, meanwhile, is made up of young professionals ready for a good time, and as a result, this is the type of place you go for one and end up staying all night.
