After garnering glowing praise last year for his performance at Chichester, Ian McKellen will reprise his performance as King Lear this summer in the West End.
Jonathan Kent's production received high acclaim when it opened in October, with our critic Henry Hitchings awarding five stars in his review. "It is McKellen's detailed performance that is this production's triumph," he wrote.
