In the five months leading up to his London Fashion Week debut he already changed the brand iconic logo and made the brand fur-free for the first time ever.
On Monday evening, he finally showcased his first Spring/Summer 2019 collection and amongst the 50 shades of beige trench coats, dresses and trousers, there was one thing that stood out from the crowd: Tisci had changed Burberry's iconic check.
The red, black and beige print that has been the brand's most recognisable trademark for generations has now been altered into a more contemporary stripe.
Tisci gave a sneak peek of the check on Burberry's Instagram mere hours before the show, citing its inspiration as "Burberry Wallpaper, 1998-2000".

As well as changing the iconic nova check, Tisci also introduced pieces in his new striking white, orange and beige Burberry logo.
The monogram, which features the letters 'T' and 'B' - which stand for the label's founder, Thomas Burberry - adorned several items, including a rather chic pussy bow blouse.
As predicated, Tisci has definitely shaken things up at one of Britain's best-loved brands.
