It might have been Carol Kirkwood at the bottom of the Strictly leader board yesterday, with just 17 points following her “limp, lame, and very lacklustre” quickstep, but it was celebrity chef Ainsley Harriott and Olympic boxer Anthony Ogogo in the bottom two in the Strictly results show.
Facing each other in the dance-off, Anthony Ogogo and Otlile Mabuse once again performed their Pasodoble to Rocky anthem Eye of the Tiger, and Ainsley Harriott and partner Natalie Lowe danced to disco classic Boogie Wonderland.
Ainsley Harriott made it through after being saved by judges Craig Revel Horwood, Darcey Bussell, and Bruno Tonioli, leaving Anthony Ogogo knocked out of the completion.
After the results were revealed, Ogogo apologised to his dance partner Otlile Mabuse, who only joined Strictly this year, claiming that he “can’t dance”.
However, Mabuse didn’t hold any sort of grudge against Ogogo.
“He has been the best,” she said. “He’s been a really, really good friend, we just have an awesome friendship now and I think we’ll have that for a very, very long time.”
