Jack Dee steps down from presenting job on The Apprentice: You’re Fired

Comedian Jack Dee has announced his departure from The Apprentice: You’re Fired.

The star had hosted the sister-show of Lord Sugar’s business competition for just one series, but has moved on “due to work commitments”.

“It's been a tough decision to leave You're Fired,” Dee said.

“I'd like to thank The Apprentice team, BBC2, the candidates and the 'Big Man' Lord Sugar himself for making me feel so welcome but now, in keeping with The Apprentice tradition, I am firing myself. Good luck with the next series.”

The show, previously hosted by Dara O Briain, offers a comedic look behind the scenes of each week’s task, as well as an interview with the departing contestant.
