At the end of their opener, counter-tenor Kenneth D Alston Junior and tenors Ramone Diggs and Phumzile Sojola slink their way through a syncopated routine like an operatic version of a 1970s soul group dressed in tails instead of flares. Their vast vocal talents are stretched in the service of soul, blues, jazz, r'n'b, spirituals, gospel and show tunes and, in the process, they bust their collective guts to make it enjoyable.
