Justin Nyantakyi, 22, was at Huntercombe young offenders' institution in Oxfordshire for a year and a half for robbery and firearms possession. While there he did a week-long comedy scriptwriting course, six hours a day, at the end of which there was a performance. "I wouldn't say it changed me as a person, because I think it takes more than that," he explains. "But it gave me experience in performance and confidence. It proved to me that if you put your mind to it, you can do things. By the end, you felt you had achieved something."
