The Secret Death of Salvador Dali is a surreal journey through the outrageous life and art of one of the world's most notorious artists. As he recounts his days from his deathbed, Dali reveals more about his pathological desire to both attract and repel.

Starring Julie Eckersley and Trevor Stuart, this play explores Dali's well known paintings, but also delves further into the depths and depravities of the artist's own subconscious, resulting in a performance that's a cocktail of irreverence, sordid sexuality and unparalleled scandal.

The Secret Death of Salvadore Dali won the Adelaide Fringe title earlier this year and will shortly be arriving in London when it finishes its run at the Edinburgh Fringe.

Since Dali craved and cultivated, more than any other artist, a public persona which would keep him on permanent display until the moment of his almost absurdly bizarre death in 1989, it could be well worth a visit.
