Comedy duo make their Marquez

There's a bit of a Spanish concept to the sketches by this hotly tipped pair of real-life brothers. But only a bit. Back projections feature the occasional matador while onstage heavy-set sibling Martin intermittently plays Paco, a vain Hispanic performer preoccupied with getting his boots to gleam.

Weasel-ish sibling John opts for more English types - a hooligan, a yokel up west, an over-sensitive soccer star who punishes naughty saucepans by making them stand in the corner of the kitchen. Martin is excellent as the latter's brutish manager trying to understand his passion for French cinema - 'there's nothing wrong with a bit of porno'.

The show is broken into snapshots until, with the simple but effective device of a door, the characters collide at a football disco. There the duo's acting rather than stand-up backgrounds pay off as they switch between characters before a dispute over a Monster Munch bag and a conga lead to catastrophe.

The inevitable, yet hilarious consequences suggest the makings of a TV comedy and indeed one is in the pipeline. Until then, enjoy this live display of virtuoso interplay that is tighter than a toreador's trousers and certainly not all bull.
