Slow to capitalise on her victory in the BBC’s influential Sound of 2017 poll at the start of the year, London soul singer Ray BLK is finally ready with a bouncy, summery piano single. Doing Me is on streaming services now.

Drum and bass figurehead Goldie has done everything from a Bond film to Strictly Come Dancing, but is back to the day job on his first album for 19 years, The Journey Man. It’s out today, including the jagged, energetic Prism.

It’s now been over a decade since the last Outkast album. At least Big Boi, half of the influential rap duo, has been keeping the fires burning with his third solo album, Boomiverse, released today. There’s a video for the Japan and Tarantino-influenced single Kill Jill on YouTube.

Not content with appearing on two of the UK’s top three singles this week, Justin Bieber is gunning to take over all three spots with a new David Guetta collaboration, 2U. Its video, featuring Victoria’s Secret Angels lipsyncing the words, is already proving popular on YouTube for some reason.
