Barking Folk Festival arrives on June 11-12, complete with a variety of activities, and live music to enjoy.
The festival announced its two headline acts to appear over the weekend, with Seth Lakeman appearing on the Saturday, and Badly Drawn Boy performing on the Sunday.
Not only will Barking Abbey Ruins be overrun with live performances, the Folk Festival will also be hosting music, dance and craft workshops, and a relaxation and pampering tipi will also be part of the Folk Festival fun.
If you think the folk-inspired events end there, you are wrong. Some classic folk tales and storytelling will also be taking place in hope to encapsulate the fun, folky mood over the June weekend.
