You've seen the posters all over town - Wesley Snipes's distinctive razorcut hairstyle makes him look like Eighties soul diva Anita Baker on steroids. You may laugh, but then so can Wesley - three films and only a handful of lines to learn in all three. The director, David S Goyer, converts what was an edgy, urban version of the vampire-slaying Marvel Comics hero into a limp self-parody. In the first Blade, Wesley Snipes terminated bloodsuckers with a samurai sword and a sneer. The second delivered extra edge, thanks to Guillermo Del Toro, a director who is never happier than when chucking about buckets of animal organs.
