Waiting in vain

A dumb, resolutely gross comedy about the young staff of a chain diner fighting boredom, stingy tippers and each other.

Rob McKittrick's debut has odd flashes of humour, thanks to David Koechner playing an absurd cheer-leader manager and Luis Guzman as a sex-mad chef.

But, in general, the proceedings slip remorselessly from bad to worse.
