Morgan to get Tracy honour

Actor Morgan Freeman, who won an Oscar for his role helping Clint Eastwood toughen up a woman boxer in Million Dollar Baby, will be honoured with the Spencer Tracy Award.

The ceremony next month will include a video retrospective of Freeman's career, including his new film, Lucky Number Slevin, which co-stars Sir Ben Kingsley, Bruce Willis and Josh Hartnett.

Previous Tracy Award recipients include James Stewart and Sir Anthony Hopkins.
