Ignore Jen's silly Rumour

Despite the presence of Jennifer Aniston, this romantic comedy from Rob Reiner, who was apparently engaged to direct halfway through a troubled shoot, hasn't got much to commend it.

Aniston plays a girl in a tailspin, worried about marrying her boyfriend (Mark Ruffalo). She finds her family impossible and eventually ends up in the bed of the man she thinks might just be her father.

He is a very rich and entirely charmless internet millionaire (Kevin Costner) who seems to have slept with her now dead mother and granny (a lively Shirley MacLaine) as well. It all turns out OK.

But even Aniston's popularity is unlikely to save this silly farrago.
