Jennifer Aniston is in talks to star in a film about war photographer Dickey Chapelle. According to Comingsoon Margaret Nagle is set to write the script, and Plan B's Brad Grey, Brad Pitt and Aniston will produce. Chapelle covered World War II for Look magazine and Reader's Digest.

Brendan Fraser is in talks to star as a gay secret agent in a new comedy. The Bedazzled star is likely to play the main character in the Gay Secret Agent.

Morgan Freeman is to star in a film about the first all-black tank regiment to see action in World War Two. The untitled Dreamworks project will centre on the 761st Tank Battalion, which arrived in France in November 1944.

Tom Hanks is reportedly to star in his first western. Empire says the Terminal star has signed up to appear in Boone's Lick with Julianne Moore. The film is an adaptation of a novel by Lonesome Dove author Larry McMurty.
