The same irreverent spirit of Jeremy Deller's English Magic can be found at Palazzo Peckham, an outpost of London hipsters installed in a boat workshop. The space is the brainchild of gallerist Hannah Barry and her mates Ollie Hogan and Ross Chalmers, and the funky interior is conceived by twentysomething artists. With its loud carpet, sunken seating and real palm trees, this is part of a scene where rapping and food are art, and punters cry "Yo!" as they rock up at the water gate.
