He marched with Martin Luther King, witnessed the Berlin Wall being built and dismantled, and photographed every American president from Eisenhower to Obama, and now British photojournalist Harry Benson has brought his pictures home to London for a 50-year, career-spanning exhibition.

As well documenting historic world events, Benson took portraits of iconic celebrities: in this exhibition, Michael Jackson rubs shoulders with Jack Nicholson, The Beatles, Amy Winehouse, Elizabeth Taylor and Kate Moss. Browse the below image gallery to see a selection of pictures from the show.
