Filling the Christmas/New Year twilight zone at Soho Theatre clearly calls for desperate measures. That's the only way to explain the choice to once again give the stage to - and charge more than 17 quid for - Kiwi comics Jackie van Beek and Jonathan Brugh, whose show has enjoyed some success Down Under but mostly misfires here.

Their premise is a daring, temptingly off-the-wall one: two dysfunctional children are left running the family porn business after their parents mysteriously disappear. The sexually charged duo try to lead normal lives but when they get older, their past, incestuous antics prove too difficult to untangle. Love conquers all but probably not in the way it should do.

Coherence is the first problem. The set pieces are underwritten, rambling and lack cohesion. But the biggest gripe is the lack of laughs gleaned from a subject that should have been so rich in naughty humour.

A skit in which Jonnie's male member is possessed by Lord Baden Powell (yes, really) raises chuckles but goes on too long and could have been funnier.

A tantalisingly mischievous foray into Christian porn - the words 'Muslim porn' are also uttered - leads to nothing but a string of grimy tampons being found where they shouldn't be. It's like watching a porn show by a local amateur dramatics society - not sexy, not satisfying and certainly not much fun.
