BusinessWarner Bros division inks deal with Soho Estates for major new London studioWarner Bros De Lane Lea, which has worked on films such as Wonder Woman, is relocating to a new Soho studioClay EnosJoanna Hodgson7 November 2017Entertainment giant Warner Bros on Tuesday gave London a boost in its battle with Hollywood, investing in a major new Soho studio.Post-production house Warner Bros De Lane Lea, part of Warner Bros Studios Leavesden, said it would develop a “world-class sound and picture post facility” to open in 2021.The firm, which has worked on films such as Wonder Woman and The Grand Budapest Hotel, has signed a lease for 25,000 square feet on Greek Street at Ilona Rose House.It is a major property under construction by Soho Estates, the property firm built up by the late porn baron Paul Raymond.Its new home will comprise colour-grading suites, picture-cutting rooms, and four sound re-recording stages, one of which is on a scale to rival those in Hollywood.
