Yesterday, Parker announced plans to add 1200 new rooms in London, at a cost of £100 million, which will make Premier Inn the biggest hotelier in the capital by 2012. Already, Premier has 5300 rooms in London, in 44 hotels. It's adding six more hotels - three new builds at Waterloo, Ealing and Old Street and three purchases in Westminster, Kensington and the City. Over-all, his target is 45,000 rooms by 2010. Currently, he's got 36,000.
