Tarver and his former staff claim the clients they won were never Capco clients and had no intention of signing up as they wanted access to their technology expertise, which they claim Capco didn’t have. Capco disputes this.
Tarver alleges that Capco benefited from its association with Being and that Capco might win other bigger contracts in future.
Capco alleges Tarver and the other defendants destroyed emails and documents as they formed their own separate businesses. Tarver says he returned sensitive files relating to Bold Rocket.
Tarver, who declined to comment, was fired for gross misconduct in October 2015.
FIS said it would not comment on the details of the legal action, but stressed that the case “in no way involves current Capco leadership or our dedicated employees who conduct business with the highest degree of professional integrity and compliance”.
