Michelle Mone: I will not let my entrepreneurs report be buried

Small business czar Michelle Mone has vowed to ensure that her government report into Britain’s start-ups does not “just sit in a drawer”.

The Ultimo founder has been tasked with studying ways to encourage entrepreneurship, particularly in deprived areas by David Cameron.

He recommendations are due to be delivered next June but Mone said she would focus on ways to get start-ups office space, school education in setting up a company and improving business networks.

In a wide-ranging speech, Mone told the audience to “get outside of your comfort zone every day” as she recounted the ups and downs of her career from awards and honours to debt and divorce.
