Swingers to open its first crazy golf venues outside of the UK, with US branches planned

Swingers, the crazy golf brand that has venues in the City and West End, is expanding and has lined up two new openings in the US.

The business, which initially started out as a five-month pop-up in a London warehouse in 2014, offers food, drink and a live DJ alongside crazy golf.

Swingers will open its third location in Washington DC in June, with its next site coming shortly after in New York.

Matt Grech-Smith, who together with Jeremy Simmonds  founded the Institute of Competitive Socialising, which is behind Swingers, said: “We’re thrilled to put a stake in the ground in two of the US’s most influential cities, known for their electric nightlife, diverse culture and prominent hospitality industries.”

The chain has raised $20 million in new funding from investor Cain International to help “support a robust opening pipeline in the US” .
